New York State minimum wage increases effective December 31, 2018

On December 31, 2018, the minimum wage for non-fast food employees in New York State increases as follows:

New York City: $15/hr. for large employers (11 or more employees) and $13.50/hr. for small employers (10 or fewer employees);

Nassau, Suffolk and Westchester County: $12/hr.

All other counties in New York State: $11.10/hr.

On December 31, 2018, the minimum wage for fast food employees increases to $12.75/hr in New York State and to $15.00 in New York City.
